The Order Reinspection feature is typically used to request an update or final inspection, i.e., 1004D form type. Additionally, the Order Reinspection feature will automatically route the order to the original appraiser that performed the initial appraisal report.
Choosing this option will launch the Appraisal FirewallX New Order screen, where the original order details will automatically populate, including the 1004D – Appraisal Update and/or Completion Report as the default form type. Once users have reviewed the various section, they can select Order at the bottom of the screen.
Upon placement, the user will be directed to the Communications Log on the Reinspection order. Along the top, the user can also Show Linked Orders. This feature will display any orders that have been ‘linked’ to the original appraisal order.
Orders placed via Order Reinspection will be designated as a ‘Direct’ link. This signifies to all users on the order that the Order Reinspection feature was utilized.
