Appraisal Firewall Updated
For New Appraisal Modernization Products

Release Information for Lender Administrators

A new version of Appraisal Firewall is now available to you, to align with the new Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac appraisal modernization products processes! To read our announcement regarding these products, check out the bulletin HERE. Effective today, Wednesday, May 3, 2023, the Entry Contact Email Address is a required field when creating a new Property Data Collection – Value Acceptance/ACE order type. This requirement will ensure the data collector has all the pertinent contact information at the time the order has been received. Providing the contact email address will prevent delays in scheduling the data collection, therefore ensuring your order is on its quickest trajectory for completion. Additionally, we have applied this requirement to all Residential order types to avoid any stoppage in your workflow process.

You will need to sign and return the
Appraisal Firewall Transaction Fee Agreement Addendum, which has been updated to include the new Valuation Modernization Products. Return the signed addendum to Danielle Walker at Danielle.Walker@SharperLending.com
. Once we receive your signed addendum, your account representative will enable these products for your convenience so you can begin placing orders immediately.

How To Use This Feature:
From the Residential New Order screen, complete all required fields (as notated with the asterisk (*) symbol). Under the Contact To Access Property segment within the Property section, the Email field is now included as a required field.

Once you have supplied the entry contact email address, complete the order as usual.
