VA appraisal orders that have been placed directly through Appraisal Firewall, but do not have a returned 1805 form, VA case number, etc., will see a Resubmit to VA button along the right-hand side of the screen. This feature allows users to manually resubmit the VA order to the VA portal any time edits have been made.
Selecting the Resubmit to VA button will display an overlay requiring the user to confirm the resubmission. Confirm will resend the order to the VA portal, while Close will direct the user back to the Communications Log.
Once the order has been confirmed by the VA portal, Appraisal Firewall will automatically retrieve the 1805 form, VA appraiser assignment, and the VA case number. If at any point during the submission process, the order fails at the VA portal and can’t be placed again ( i.e. cannot login as the user, the COE cannot be verified and/or re-pulled, the order could not place due to required data), an email notification will be sent to the order originators notifying them of the issue.
