On the Appraisal Firewall New Order screen, you can enter order specifics. Borrower information, property address, loan type, and loan number are automatically populated for you. When a green checkmark appears at the upper right of the section, all required information has been input, and you can move onto the next portion of the New Order screen to continue filling out order information.

Within the Loan section, fill out the basic loan information. Required fields are marked by an asterisk. Choose the appropriate loan type via the radio button adjacent to the listed loan type name: Conventional, FHA, FHA Flip, VA, USDA, and Jumbo.

Please Note: FHA, FHA Flip, and USDA loan types all require an appraiser to have certification entered within their settings.

When the Loan section is completed, you will need to validate and fill out any remaining data entry fields in the Property section. Here you can review the subject property information to make sure it's accurate, plus you can identify any special selections or criteria that will help identify the property to the appraiser (waterfront, manufactured, oversized, acreage, rural, construction, condo co-op, non-owner occupied, and/or 2-4 unit), and add any additional property descriptions or instructions. When a green checkmark appears at the upper right of the section, all required information has been input.

Note: Depending on your settings, you have the option to place orders via credit card. Although Appraisal Firewall processes credit card payments on your behalf, you are responsible for providing 1099s to your appraisers regardless of whether you place billing or credit card orders.
