Once you have added a commercial administrator, the next step is to setup a panel of appraisers that do appraisals for your commercial division. If you are mixing your Residential and Commercial into a single division, you can follow the same basic instructions below to add Commercial appraisals to your appraiser panel. These appraisers can be sent bid requests on commercial orders by your commercial lender Admin that they can then respond to - and the best bidder will then be manually assigned to the commercial appraisal order.

You can either invite appraisers that are not in the system, or you can add appraisers that are under your lender company that do commercial orders. You can also browse the entire list of appraisers in the system to add to this commercial panel; however, you more than likely will want to only add appraisers that you know and trust to your panel.

1. Go to the Relationships tab, click the Divisions tab, expand the commercial appraisal division you created, and click the Manage Appraisers button.

2. You will then be taken to the division's Appraisers tab. The screen shot below displays if you do not have any appraisers setup for this division.

3. You may have appraisers on your main residential panel that also do commercial appraisals. The fastest way to begin building your commercial appraiser panel is to identify which appraisers on your current panel do commercial work. (If you know that none of your residential appraisers on your current panel do commercial appraisals, skip to step #6). Find and click the Lender Appraisers button. Your appraisers will be shown below.

4. If you have questions about whether the appraiser does commercial appraisals or not, there are columns with an icon indicating what appraisal types the appraiser has indicated they can perform. The key can be found above your list of appraisers.

You can also expand an appraiser’s profile from the list of appraisers, selecting the Settings icon. Expand the Appraisal Types section.

5. You can add appraisers to this panel by clicking the green plus sign to the left of any appraisers listed. When you get the Confirm Action screen, click the Approve button to add this appraiser to your commercial appraisal panel.

6. Once you add the appraiser, an overlay will ask you to Confirm the action. By default, the appraisal types the appraiser has indicated they are eligible to perform will be automatically enabled. On this overlay you can choose which appraisal types you want the appraiser to receive work. Choose Approve to finalize adding the appraiser to your panel. Selecting Cancel will direct you back to the appraiser panel and will not add the appraiser to your panel.

7. To add appraisers that are not currently in the system to your panel, click the Invite Appraiser

button.

8. When the email screen opens, enter the email address of the appraiser you want to invite to this panel, then click the green arrow. The appraiser will be sent an email invitation from the system inviting them to sign-up. Once they do, they will be automatically added to your panel.

9. You can continue building your appraiser panel in this way until it is complete. Also, you can add (or remove) appraisers to/from your panel at any time.
