Click the New Order link along the left side to order an appraisal. A selection of appraisal products will open based on the products enabled for your branch. You can select from this list. All possible products are shown here (but not all may be available to your branch).



  • Residential – Order a standard residential appraisal product for mortgage lending. Standard charges apply.


  • Commercial – Order a commercial appraisal product for commercial lending. Standard charges apply.


  • Valuation – Select this option to place an order for an AVM or a Property Condition Report (PCR).

o AVM – Get an instant property valuation based on historical property and market data, and mathematical modeling. A great solution for some refinance and equity products; AVMs typically return in 7-10 seconds.


o PCR – These reports combine automated and manual data to evaluate the overall condition of a property. An evaluator visits the property, performs an exterior inspection, and provides photos, property detail, and an overall condition rating. Please note that the property must be street accessible for the evaluator to obtain photos. PCRs typically complete in 5-7 business days.


  • Verisite – Order a Verisite mobile property inspection. These are typically ordered on loans where a full appraisal is not required. They are ideal for equity lending, property inspections, disaster evaluations, and other situations where you need pictures and data of the condition of the interior of the property as well as the exterior. Standard charges apply.


  • Scorecard – Use this option to order an automated appraisal review of an existing appraisal that has already been completed. The Scorecard automatically reviews thousands of data points for completeness and accuracy, then allows lenders, appraisers, and reviewers to communicate directly on the web-based output, providing a multi-audience communication tool for faster review results. The Scorecard can be applied to most standard appraisal form types including 1004, 1004C, 1025, 1073, 1075, 2055, 2090, and 2095. You can also setup standalone Scorecard ordering at the division level. An XML or first-generation PDF of the appraisal report is required for standalone Scorecard orders. Standard charges apply. Please note that 1004Ds are not eligible to be submitted for Scorecard.


The Residential New Order screen contains four sections that collect property, borrower, and payment information. Providing accurate property data helps the appraiser quickly identify pertinent order details. Orders that have been placed successfully will appear in your Order List and can be routed to an appraiser on your panel.



In the first section of the New Order screen, you can enter borrower information as well as add other users under your company that should have access to the order and will be sent order email notifications. When a green checkmark appears at the upper right of the section, all required information has been input and you can move onto the next portion of the New Order screen to continue filling out order information.


As an administrator you can change what information is required on the New Order screen (loan number, borrower email, etc.). Use the Edit Settings feature within a division’s settings (Relationships window) to personalize the New Order settings.


Note: Depending on your settings, you have the option to place orders via credit card. Although Appraisal Firewall processes credit card payments on your behalf, you are responsible for providing 1099s to your appraisers regardless of whether or not you place billing or credit card orders.
